Something I have learned after being married for 17 years that it’s important to keep the romance alive. It was definitely easier to do that when it was just the two of us, once Noah was born we got so absorbed by being parents that we have forgotten about being fun, enjoying time just the two of us.

I remember first time we left Noah with family or friends and went out on a date. I was nervous, almost sick worried that I couldn’t even enjoy the dinner. I didn’t think I would be ever ok to leave Noah again…

I remembered what my mom would always tell me and my brother “I love you guys so much, but I love my husband the most”. I remember feeling offended. She explained why? She said that we will go on to live our life one day, but their marriage is forever. It was so so true.

So hubby and I gave this dating thing another try and we had a blast…

Now, we try to find time just for us, to stay happy and in love.
