Festive Dressing – Look #1

Over the next two weeks I will share my take on the holiday/special occasion dressing. I will also share my personal notes and memories from my Christmas Holidays as a kid.

With the first festive outfits comes first personal note. Ever since I first came to Canada as a young adult I am missing someone in my life. I miss my parents, my nephew, my 94 years old grandpa and my friends. When I left Poland almost 17 years ago I didn’t know that I will stay in Canada, get married and have a life. I was coming for vacation that is all I knew. But life is unexpected and you never know what future holds.

Missing loved ones is never easy, but missing them around holidays is always been hard on me.

As a adult I can explain to myself and understand why my whole family cannot be here and having the two great loves in my life (hubby and Noah) make this a lot easier for sure.

This holiday season let’s see beyond the presents, let’s enjoy family time, food, games, laughs and let’s be merry. I am sure I am not the only one that misses someone special during this holiday season so let’s be kind to one another.

This post is for you my loved ones in Poland, my dear parents, my nephew, my grandpa and my dear friends. I will always miss you.

Dress – Lunia Bonder // Tights – The Bay // Shoes – Manolo Blahnik // Bows – Uterqüe, sold out, similar here // Bag – Chanel

Till next time, xo
